A Sweet 16 or Quinceañera with Tommy's Tunes is the same family business that's been running Long Island events since 1985, doing a very different kind of night. Half the guests are 15-year-olds with very specific opinions about which song comes next. The other half is the family, ready for the toast, the candle lighting, the parent dance. Our MCs work both halves at once.

Anderson and David work plenty of weddings too, but they're a strong Sweet 16 lineup. Anderson DJs in English or Spanish. David runs Sweet 16s in English with the kind of energy reviewers keep calling out by name. The bilingual menu is yours: full Spanish from entrance to last song, English announcements with Spanish music, Spanish toasts followed by English party tracks. The planning itself is the same as a wedding, scaled to the night. You sit down at the Selden showroom or the Melville office. We walk through the Sweet 16 Protocol and the Candlelighting Form together. Both are on our forms page, downloadable to fill out at home. The candlelighting alone usually runs 16 entries, each with a person to call up and a song that plays. Same with the Quinceañera waltz, the surprise dance, the crown moment. Every cue is locked before the doors open.

What parents worry about before the night, almost universally, is whether the teenagers will actually dance. Forty years of these tells us the answer is consistent: yes, if the MC reads the room. The MC's job at a Sweet 16 isn't just announcements. It's keeping the energy alive between formal moments, pulling reluctant cousins onto the floor when needed, sometimes running classic crowd games like the dollar dance or shoe game that the family picks from the Party Games form.
